The Media’s Roller Coaster Ride on Sushant Singh Rajput’s Case

It all started with suicide, the first verdict of terrible Indian media’s own volition! Just within a few hours, the media grabbed an opportunity to add spice into the matter. With dozens of ups and downs, media is now clueless on what new spices to serve the nonsense audience.

Shushant Singh Rajput committed suicide

It was the first ‘label’ or prima facie evidences. His body was found hanging from the fan with his own salwar. In fact, a few presstitutes did not leave a chance to call it ‘green’ or ‘haraa’ dupatta aiming to give a religious twist. However, the bubble burst with little enthusiasm.

Shushant Singh Rajput committed suicide – but why?

Once the ephemeral theory of ‘suicide’ was set by the Indian pressititutes, a new angle of TRP was added – the reason to commit suicide. The first thing that came to everyone’s mind, especially pathetic news anchors, was nepotism. The topic of nepotism had been a moot point for past few months. Adding fuel to fire, linking Shushant’s depression because of nepotism and not getting awards for Kedarnath and Chhichhore worked for many gutter news channels.

Drugs followed nepotism

If nepotism was not enough to attract everyone’s eyeballs, the ‘Nation wants to know’ anchor jumped into the bandwagon of nepotism followed by drugs. The illusive angle of ‘drugs’ was broader and better than nepotism as it’d involve not just film stars but also people with high political influence.

Kangana – the catalyst

The Queen actress has been known for her babbling and entertaining straightforwardness. She is a good opportunist and grabbed the best time to loud her voice through the news channel. On the other hand, the ‘Nation wants to know’ channel was looking for the TRP to beat the No 1 channel Aaj Tak, and it succeeded.

Unbeknownst to Kangana, she became a scapegoat and clown who would entertain the Twitteriets with her jingoistic and superfluous
tweets. If that was not enough, the tussle between BMC and Kangana fanned the fire that benefited almost all news channels in gaining TRPs. The best part of the Indian media is that they know the filth in audience and serve them the same!

Shift from Sushant to Disha

When CBI, AIIMS, and ED did not show any sign to add spices to Sushant’s murder case, the media shifted its victim card from Rhea Chakraborty to Disha, Sushant’s manager who committed suicide some days back of Sushant’s death. The case then turned into mysterious death of Disha and the ‘Nation’ again wanted to know that it was again a murder and not suicide.

Where is it all heading?

Nowhere! Indian media’s sole interest is to add spices to the news and get great TRPs. The jokers of ‘Nation Wants to Know’ and other channels jump here and there on the roads, run behind the accused, and finally get salaries in hundreds of thousands. A new day begins with a new propaganda and agenda.
