Skill-Lync is the brainchild of two Mechanical Engineers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison zwho wanted to make a positive impact on Education in India. What started as a fledgling you tube channel in 2015, is today a thriving start-up with over 220 employees, offices in 3 cities (Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad) and over 5000 students spanning 56 countries. Skill-Lync is the first startup from Chennai, India to be backed by Y-Combinator (W19 Batch).

All our Masters’ and PG certification Programs are first of their kind in India.
The premier flagship offline-program from Skill-Lync that prepares students for a career in the domain of the future. Students will study in a purpose-built-study-center called the Skill-Center. At the Skill-Center, the students will have ready technical support from engineers who will stay with them. There will be workshops conducted by industry experts every weekend, allowing students to keep themselves abreast of the latest trends in the industry.
The Masters’ programs at Skill-Lync have been designed to help students achieve conceptual clarity in a particular domain and help them get employed into organizations that work in that domain. These programs are 6-8 months long and are conducted online, and students are provided technical support from experts at Skill-Lync through – emails, whats app, and telephone calls.
Online – Individual courses
These courses are designed to help students or professionals scale up in a particular subject. They are short courses that typically last 2-3 months. Students will work on specific projects that will help them better understand the contents of the course. The mode of learning on this is also online.
PROSAP, allows engineering students to choose an area of interest in which they want to pursue their career allowing them to work on one project-based technical course every semester from the first Semester to the eighth Semester.
A crack team at Skill-Lync whose goal is to help students get employed. They reach out to organizations that are on the lookout for cutting-edge talent and help them connect with students at Skill-Lync. They also help students better answer questions posed to them in interviews and train them in tool tests – which is one of the prerequisites for getting into a good organization. The student success team also helps the students better showcase their projects and amp up their Linkedin page.
