The team successfully onboarded more than 400 stores from Guwahati alone, but they were crippled by the lack of revenue. They started searching for funds, but were not successful as the startup ecosystem was not all all developed in this part of the country then. So they had to shut shop in 2018 after which all the members went to do jobs in different companies like Tata Motors Limited, Mankind Pharma and different Government organizations. 

Fast forward to 2020, Covid stuck and they imagined rise of their idea again. They started working on Grofshop again and finally launched the app in March, 2021.
