DomestiQue: Platform for People to Avail High-end Domestic Services

We are Engineers from KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS. our team consists of
students of 3rd and 2nd-year students. We were working on this idea for 2 years. Though there are several companies providing a similar type of services but they didn’t have brand equity as like ola, Paytm, Oyo, etc. We have our USPs such as Ping module for professional, solving multiple queries and updateable service for unknown faults and assigning nearest professional rather than reverse bidding.

Thus we want to become a recognizable brand in India. For this, our team has conducted a survey in Lucknow and Ghaziabad to know about the density of potential customers in different areas and the need for our product.

We launched our beta version in a small region of Ghaziabad and got a good response and our team has also erased some loopholes according to customer feedback. Our team consists of 20+ people with 7 service professional having expertise in photography and beautician.

IDEA: DomestiQue is a platform for people to avail high-end Domestic services such as electrician, plumber, painter, parlor, pujari, home tutor, mechanic, maid, and even medicine and medical treatment at their doorstep. The app would be having all the features of the website but it would be a point of convenience for the customers they can book any of the above-described services through their mobile phone or website and get a response from the nearest service professional.

Customers will be shown the approximate amount of the services whereas the final amount will be shown after the job. Whenever a customer needs a service, they will open the app from their phone and requests for a particular service by enabling their location. The technical team of DomestiQue will find the nearest registered service professional to their location and send a Ping to
the professional’s phone. After accepting the ping, the service professional goes to a customer’s location and serves them.
