From light bulbs to TV screens, LEDs have found their way into our homes and offices. While the advantages of the currently available LED devices are plenty, we still haven’t completely tapped into the usage of them. We, at Frontera Displays, hope to bridge this very gap and brighten your lives one LED device at a time.
Started in 2018 by Aayush Soni and Aravind Raj, we dreamed of a world where LEDs showcased everything a company stood for and propelled it forward in the industry. A simple screen would not only display ads for your company, it could display ads that represented your clientele and their interests or it could be used to form a connection between you and your potential clients while they peruse through your catalog.
And you can either display the same content everyday or display something different every hour, you could even experiment and see what suits your brand, it’s up to you. And we mean that literally because the controls are in your hands.
Frontera is a Hardware Tech startup. We provide end-to-end smart LED display solutions to make advertising outdoors cheaper and industry floors smarter.
We manufacture Smart LED displays and integrate it with our back-end software for outdoor and indoor purposes. The pain points that motivated us to start this organization are:
- Traditional Out-Of-Home Advertising is expensive. Advertising on a billboard is ~$1300 per week. It\’s difficult for Small and Medium scale enterprises to afford this
- There is a huge gap between offline and online marketing. Targeted Offline marketing is not available.
- Retail floor displays are static and not centrally controllable. Our displays are capable of displaying live changing promotions.
- Industry floors and warehouses lack the technology for displaying real time updates in the workplace
What we do in detail
The cards that we have developed can be an add-on to existing LED displays around the world to make displays smarter. The ads can be automatically changed according to weather, location, time etc by taking data from cloud/local database. These cards find application in Advertising LED boards and Industry LED boards.
Company competitive advantage
Current LED Displays are divided into 2 categories – \”synchronous displays\”, i.e. those that work like a large HDMI monitor, and \”asynchronous displays\”, i.e. those where a media clip/playlist is manually loaded and it plays on a loop. However for advertising and industries neither display fits the bill.
So we have developed a line of \”smart displays\” which can be programmed to display content based on the user parameters, connected sensors – taking data directly from local or online servers, and show the data in real time. The largest manufacturer of current LED displays are Huidu Technologies and Novastar Technology.
