About the founder
Jigar Doriwala is the founder and CEO of Tenacious Techies. He has developed Food chow for Restaurant\’s owners around the world to connect with their customers. He spent 10+ years in Australia and decided to start his own Food Tech Startup.
How did the idea to start up a food ordering portal come up?
Tenacious techies is the parent company of Food chow. It all started when the founder was having a conversation with one of his friends who owns a restaurant and was sharing about the problems he was facing because of delivery companies charging a heavy amount for delivering food to their own customer.
He didn’t have any system, website, mobile app, local presence, social media, etc.
Apart from that he noticed a gap and an opportunity for party orders, take away-pick up orders, table reservation, pre orders, website development and SEO to help these businesses.

Mr. Jigar started doing research with restaurants to get a glimpse of the struggles they were facing and most restaurants had the same story.
This is when he realized, he wanted to give the power back to the restaurant which will help restaurants as well as customers. He wanted to build a portal where everything could be easily accessed in a single platform.
The idea is to support small local business as well businesses that want to grow their presence online and where customers can find new offers/deals, leave a review, book a table, order for a party and take delivery or take away orders.
Eventually, with some more research we started working on Food chow and we face a few problems like new changing models and addition of more modules as every client needs a specific solution.
We had to design it in a way that it fits all. The most challenging thing for us was to add new features to fulfill as many requirements as we can.
