The story of Defined AI goes back to 2015 when CEO Daniela Braga founded the company in Seattle, WA and opened an R&D center in Lisbon, Portugal.
In 2016 Defined AI launched the smart data platform and received a seed round of US$1.1 million from investors that included Sony, Amazon Alexa Fund, Portugal Ventures and Busy Angels.
In 2017 Defined AI launched Neevo, the human intelligence half of the product equation, opened the third office in Porto and releases an alpha version of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.
In 2021 launched Defined.ai, the world’s leading online marketplace, where AI professionals are able to commission, buy or sell AI training data, tools, or models.
