If you are bored with your regular noodles then it’s time to try some thing new. Your same noodles in different styles. It’s Hakka style in which you can try your old noddles.
Now you were thinking that what is Hakka noodles right ?
Both noodles are same and came from same only The difference between them is the style in which they are cooked. Chow-mein has a Taiwan influence to it, while Hakka noodles are cooked as per the Hakka cuisine.
So here is a full recipe of Hakka noodles you can cooked simply in home.
Ingredients you need for Hakka noodles:
1. 2 cup plain noodles
2. 6 Garlic buds, finely chopped
3. 1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
4. 1/4 cup chopped French beans
5. 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
6 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
7. 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
8. Chopped carrots in 1/4 cup long thin slices
9. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
10. 2 tsp soya sauce
11. 1½ tsp chili sauce (red or green)
12. 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
13. 1 tbsp Oil
14. salt to taste
Method to prepared Hakka noodles:
Firstly Boil the noodles. Do not let the noodles cook much, keep them slightly raw.
After that cut vegetable according to the list of ingredients given in the list. The vegetables cut in a similar size so that they take less time to cook.
Heat 1-tablespoon oil on medium flame in a pan.
Add finely chopped garlic and ginger and fry for 30 seconds. Put chopped french beans and fry for a minute. Put chopped green onions, capsicum, cabbage and carrots.
After that, Roast vegetables on high flame until they are cooked but remain crisp, it will take about 2 minutes.
Then Put soya sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, black pepper powder and salt
Mix well and let it cook for a minute. Put boiled noodles. Toss them to mix. Toss it till the noodles mix well with the sauce and almost all vegetables, it will take approximately 1 minute.
Turn off the gas and remove it in the serving plate.
Serve it with hot and sour soup or dry vegetable Manchurian.
