People watch movies for various reasons. Some are interested in falling into laughter and therefore watch comedies, while others are more excited by watching love stories. Children are more prone to watching cartoons, and females prefer romance to everything. Boys are more commonly attracted by action movies, and teenagers may have a tendency to watch erotic movies. But amongst all are two genres with unique audiences: Horror and thriller.
Thrillers are movies in which the characters are under some fatal threat caused not by some supernatural being – unlike the case in horror films – but rather a human, animal or natural disaster. This threat is most commonly a person with psychopathic background. The leading characters are frequently threatened or are obliged to save a person distressed by a villain, and there usually is a mystery or psychological problem behind the villain’s motives. That is why the terms “psychological thriller”, “suspense thriller” or “suspense film” are frequently used.
Unlike the common opinion, Hollywood is not the largest film industry in the world. It is Bollywood, the film industry of India based in Mumbai. Because Mumbai once was called Bombay, the name Bollywood was created combining the names Bombay and Hollywood. Though Bollywood movies are not seemingly as popular as those of Hollywood, they still have enough fans worldwide. And amongst these, there are 5 thriller movies released in 2017 that prove Indian cinema is no lesser in making good thriller movies when compared with Hollywood.
Kaabil is a crime thriller directed by Sanjay Gupta, starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. The movie is centered on two blind people, Rohan and Supriya, who love each other and get married. However, their happy life is ruined by two criminals they meet. Supriya is raped by the criminals, and to the worse, one of the criminals, Amit, is backed by a politician relative, rendering him untouchable for the police force. Supriya is once more raped by Amit, and commits suicide. Learning that, Rohan seeks revenge, tracking down both criminals to kill them. He makes use of his dubbing theater skills to confuse the criminals which is very interesting part of the movie

Later, he learns about a young girl in distress and sends out a police constable to help her but both the girl and the constable are brutally killed. Then he personally investigates the murders and finds out that there is a serial killer who is behind these murders. Later he goes against the law and with the help of his friends and his amazing skills, succeeds in catching the murderer. The villain character played by SJ Surya is very much appreciable.
